"Maggie"

Maggie is a siberian husky & was born May 3, 1998. She is solid white with beautiful blue eyes. For more information about the various colors of a sibe, click here. (Maggie is pictured on the colors of siberian huskies page.)
Mag is a typical sibe... very stubborn but full of life. She has a wonderful temperament, loves everyone, & is quite sure that everyone loves her, too! Maggie adores children & is extremely gentle with our young daughters. However, in typical siberian fashion, she is also very independent. Maggie's favorite hobbies are "pouncing" on Dad, smothering Mom with kisses, "wooing", and chewing. (preferably on a bone!)
We have been attending obedience classes, & Maggie is now in the novice class. In April 1999, she earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate.
Maggie & I attended our first obedience trial in Fayetteville, Arkansas on December 9, 2000. We earned our first leg toward our CD & came in 3rd place. One down, two to go...
Having a pep talk before our first
obedience trial in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Our second leg toward our CD was earned at the Siberian Husky Specialty in St Joseph, MO. Maggie won 2nd place in Novice A. One more to go..... We're keeping our paws crossed! ;-)
Taking 2nd place at St Joseph,
MO.
Maggie earned her CD at the Oklahoma City Siberian Husky Specialty in Oklahoma City, OK on February 24, 2001. We came in 2nd place.
Taking 2nd place & new CD title
at the OKC Specialty.
Maggie entered three obedience trials, qualified in three tries, & placed in each trial. I'm so proud of my Maggie girl! She is now taking a break from obedience & is quickly becoming the world's biggest couch potato!!!!! ;-)

Siberian Huskies are beautiful dogs, but they definitely aren't the breed for everyone. Sibe's are very intelligent but difficult to train. They also shed twice a year- from February to August, then again from August to February. So you think you want a husky? Click here to find out more information about siberian huskies.
Do you still want a Siberian Husky? Please adopt! Check out the Siberian Husky Rescue Page.
