OBJECT: To throw playing cards one at a time into the lid from a golf ball box. Repeat process from different distances. Keep track of makes and misses and the number tossed. Data will be evaluated individually, as a group, and as a class.

You will stand the appropriate distance from the box and toss the card at the box without leaning toward the box. Keep track of the # tossed, misses, and makes. Were you an above average or below average tosser?
At the class percentage of makes, how many cards would expect to be made if 15000 cards were tossed from each distance? Answer for each distance.

Do you think practicing for several weeks would increase the percentage?

Do you think gender (being male or female) have anything to do with the outcome?

Are there any other factors that could have influenced the outcome?
