Greetings:

This is my 31st year to teach at the middle school level in the area of special education. In 1987, I graduated from Pittsburg State with my bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education. In 2013, I earned my master's degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism. My first year of teaching was at Lamar, Missouri, followed by 6 years at Baxter Springs. Then, I was fortunate to come back home to Girard, where I have been at the middle school ever since! 

In my spare time, I enjoy singing, working in my flower gardens, traveling, and spending time with our daughters.
