Superintendent Mr. Ferguson has served as Superintendent since 2023, following more than a decade of leadership at Girard High School, where he was principal beginning in 2012. He began his career in education as a high school biology teacher in Norton and Jefferson West school districts before accepting the role of assistant principal at Fort Scott High School. In 2009, Mr. Ferguson joined Girard High School as an assistant principal under the then-principal, Blaise Bauer. After three years in that role, he was named principal, a position he held until becoming the superintendent. Mr. Ferguson is committed to continuing Girard's tradition of excellence through strong leadership, community support, and a focus on student success. |
